Diepontlading Diepontlading van de accu dreigt wanneer een accu door ingeschakelde ver-
bruikers en door ruststroom volledig wordt ontladen en de rustspanning onder
12 V daalt.
Capaciteit Als capaciteit wordt de hoeveelheid elektriciteit aangeduid, die een accu kan
opnemen.
De capaciteit van een accu wordt in ampère-uren (Ah) aangegeven. In de
regel wordt daarbij de zogenaamde K20-waarde gebruikt.
De K20-waarde geeft aan, hoeveel stroom een accu over een periode van
20 uur kan afgeven, zonder dat deze wordt beschadigd, of hoeveel stroom er
nodig is, om een lege accu binnen 20 uur te laden.
Wanneer een accu bijv. 20 uur lang 4 ampère kan afgeven, heeft deze een
capaciteit van 4 A x 20 h = 80 Ah.
Wanneer er meer stroom stroomt, verlaagt de capaciteit van de accu even-
redig.
Externe invloeden zoals temperatuur en leeftijd veranderen het opnamever-
mogen van de accu. Capaciteitsgegevens hebben betrekking op nieuwe, bij
ruimtetemperatuur gebruikte accu's.
8.3 12-V-boordnet
8.3.1 Startaccu
De startaccu dient voor het starten van de motor en voedt de elektrische ver-
bruikers van het basisvoertuig alsmede extra apparaten zoals radio, naviga-
tietoestel of centrale vergrendeling met spanning. De inbouwplaats van de
startaccu is te vinden in de gebruiksaanwijzing van het basisvoertuig.
Ontlading In deze sectie vindt u instructies voor de ontlading van de startaccu.
Diepontlading is schadelijk voor de accu.
Capaciteitsgegevens hebben afhankelijk van de accutechnologie een
omrekeningsfactor van 1,3 tot 1,7, die de daadwerkelijke capaciteit met
deze waarde laat dalen.
Aan de contactdozen van het 12-V-boordnet alleen apparaten met maxi-
maal 10 A aansluiten.
Bij modellen met een Fiat als basisvoertuig is de radio in de bestuurders-
cabine op de woonruimteaccu aangesloten.
Diepontlading is schadelijk voor de accu.
Wanneer een accu met zuurvulling leeg is, kan deze bij minustempera-
turen invriezen. Daarbij wordt de accu vernietigd.
Accu tijdig opladen.

  • I hook up to electric on site, for two days everything is working fine, then none of my electrical Appliances work in fact everything Switches off then on my panel a red light come on. If I start the motorhome up for 10 minutes All appliances work for a little while then switches off Submitted on 14-9-2021 at 09:39
