Als het voertuig niet op de 230-V-voorziening is aangesloten of als de 230-V-
voorziening is uitgeschakeld, voedt de woonruimteaccu de woonruimte met
12 V gelijkspanning. De woonruimteaccu heeft slechts een begrensde ener-
gievoorraad. Daarom elektrische verbruikers zoals bijvoorbeeld radio of
lampen niet gedurende een langere periode zonder 230-V-voorziening
gebruiken.
Ontlading Door de ruststroom, die sommige elektrische verbruikers permanent ver-
bruiken, wordt de woonruimteaccu ontladen.
Bij lage buitentemperaturen verlaagt de beschikbare capaciteit.
De zelfontlading van de accu is eveneens afhankelijk van de temperatuur. Bij
20 tot 25 °C bedraagt het zelfontladingspercentage ca. 3 % van de capaciteit/
maand. Bij stijgende temperaturen neemt het zelfontladingspercentage toe:
Bij 35 °C bedraagt het zelfontladingspercentage ca. 20 % van de capaciteit/
maand.
Een oude accu beschikt niet meer over de volle capaciteit.
Hoe meer elektrische verbruikers ingeschakeld zijn, des te sneller is de ener-
gievoorraad van de woonruimteaccu verbruikt.
Om te voorkomen dat de woonruimteaccu snel wordt ontladen, kan de koel-
kast alleen bij een draaiende voertuigmotor en elektrische verbinding tussen
trekvoertuig en caravan door de 12-V-voorziening worden gevoed.
Laden De woonruimteaccu alleen met het stroomvoorzieningsapparaat laden. Het
voertuig daarvoor zo vaak mogelijk op een 230-V-voorziening aansluiten.
AIs de caravan elektrisch verbonden is met het trekvoertuig en de motor van
het trekvoertuig draait, wordt de woonruimteaccu door de dynamo van het
trekvoertuig bijgeladen.
Z De accu is onderhoudsvrij. Onderhoudsvrij betekent:
De zuurstand hoeft niet gecontroleerd te worden.
De accupolen hoeven niet ingevet te worden.
Er hoeft geen gedestilleerd water bijgevuld te worden.
Ook een onderhoudsvrije accu moet doorlopend worden bijgeladen.
Z Diepontlading is schadelijk voor de accu.
Z Accu tijdig opladen.
Z Na een diepontlading de accu tenminste 48 uur laden.
Z Bij temperaturen onder 0 °C neemt een woonruimteaccu minder stroom
op. Bij ca. -15 °C stroomt er geen stroom meer. De woonruimteaccu kan
niet meer worden geladen.
