El freno de llanta hidráulico tiene una palanca de

En un Pedelec con un freno de disco, el disco de
freno está atornillado fijamente con el buje de la
rueda.
Al apretar la palanca de freno se genera presión
de frenado. Por medio del líquido de freno se
transmite la presión a través de los cables de
freno a los cilindros en la pinza de freno. La fuerza
de frenado se aumenta mediante una reducción y
se transmite a las almohadillas de freno. Estas
frenan el disco de freno de forma mecánica. Si se
acciona la palanca de freno, las almohadillas de
freno se presionarán contra el disco de freno y se
desacelerará el movimiento de la rueda hasta su
parada.
La palanca de bloqueo del freno de llanta no está rotulada. Solo
un distribuidor especializado puede ajustar la palanca de
bloqueo del freno de llanta.
