PREPARING AND USING THE BUGABOO FROG
Follow the instructions carefully, observing the sequence of the diagrams and text. The letters and numbers of
the diagrams and text correspond.
A FITTING THE WHEELS TO THE CHASSIS
Fitting wheels
1
Place the chassis as shown with the plastic parts on the ground.
2
Slide swivelling-wheel blocker upwards.
3
Push the swivel hubs into the sockets as shown until you hear a click from each one. Be careful not to put
the swivel hubs into the wrong end of the sockets. Now push the large wheels with pneumatic tyres into
the sockets as shown until you hear a click from each one.
WARNING Make sure that the valve caps and nuts are firmly tightened to avoid any risk
associated with small objects that are liable to be swallowed.
WARNING Be careful not to put the swivel hubs into the wrong end of the sockets.
B UNFOLDING THE CHASSIS AND ATTACHING THE BAG
Unfolding the chassis
1
To unlock the pushing handle, pull the two release knobs towards you and lift it. Do not exert force on the
handle while operating the knobs.
2
Let go of the knobs and raise the handle to the position shown in the diagram until you hear a click on
both sides.
3
Place your foot on the crossbar between the swivel hubs, push the crossbar away from you while at the
same time raising the pushing handle.
4
Place the chassis on all four wheels and pull the swivel hub locking handles down.
Attaching the Bugaboo Frog bag
5
Attach the luggage bag to the undercarriage by fastening the 4 Velcro straps on the aluminium frame. The
bag may remain in place when the undercarriage is folded.
WARNING The Bugaboo Frog bag is designed to carry a maximum of 4 kilograms.
WARNING The pneumatic tyres and sprung swivel hubs provide cushioning, so do not
inflate the tyres too hard (max 15 PSI / 1 bar)!
WARNING Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
C PREPARING THE BUGABOO FROG COT
The cot is made ready for use by fitting the cot liner to the seat/cot frame. The cot liner is supplied com-
plete with mattress and apron. The cot is a freestanding unit and can be used as a carry cot. When taking
your child by car, however, you should use an approved car seat. The seat cover can also be fitted to the
seat/cot frame. If the seat cover is already fitted to the seat/cot frame and you want to turn it into a cot you
will first need to remove the seat cover. See diagram E (carry out the instructions in reverse order).
Fitting the cot liner to the seat/cot frame
1
The cot upholstery is fastened to the seat/cot frame with Velcro straps. Ensure that the round side of the bot-
tom plate of the cot upholstery corresponds with the round side of the seat/cot frame. The numerical order
shows you how to attach the cot upholstery. First position the plastic slats (no. 1) in the pocket. Then attach the
Velcro straps (no. 2 - no. 7). Make sure that you observe the numerical order of the Velcro. Attach the Velcro
straps at the lower end of the sides of the cot upholstery tightly to the side supports of the seat/cot frame.
