Sugestões de desidratação

 Não sobreponha os alimentos. Certifique-se de que os alimentos estão nivelados quando forem

colocados nos tabuleiros de desidratação. A sobreposição de alimentos pode aumentar

consideravelmente o tempo de secagem.

 Antes de retirar os alimentos certifique-se de que estão completamente secos. Se não tiver a

certeza, corte uma amostra ao meio para verificar a secura interna.

 Certifique-se de identificar os recipientes quando armazenar alimentos desidratados.

 Um armazenamento adequado ajuda a manter a qualidade dos alimentos. Embale os alimentos

quando estiverem frios. Os alimentos podem ser conservados durante mais tempo se forem

armazenados num local fresco, escuro e seco. A temperatura ideal de armazenamento é igual ou

inferior a 16º C.

 Coloque os alimentos desidratados em sacos plásticos de congelação antes de os colocar em

recipientes de metal ou vidro. Remova a maior quantidade possível de ar antes de proceder à

embalagem.

 A embalagem a vácuo é a melhor forma de manter os alimentos desidratados.

 Os alimentos encolhem aproximadamente ¼ a ½ do respetivo tamanho e peso originais durante a

desidratação. Certifique-se de não cortar os alimentos a desidratar em pedaços demasiado

pequenos.
