STIJGSNELHEID:
De voorgeprogrammeerde stijgsnelheid is als volgt:
64.8m(213 ft) tot 20 m(66 ft) : 20 meter per minuut (66ft/min)
20 m(66ft) – oppervlakte : 10 meter per minuut (33ft/min)
Zodra de stijgsnelheid wordt overschreden zal de computer de volgende
waarschuwingen geven:
Visueel:De “graphic bar” zal langzaam worden gevuld met stijgende snelheid. Vanaf
3 segmenten wordt het woord SLOW getoond en bij het bereiken van de maximale
snelheid zullen twee pijliconen worden getoond.De LCD verlichting knippert tot een
stijgsnelheid beneden de maximaal geprogrammeerde waarde wordt bereikt.
Akoestisch:Een constante pieptoon wordt gegenereerd zolang de maximum
stijgsnelheid wordt overschreden.Zakt de duiker terug in snelheid binnen de voor
geprogrammeerde grens verdwijnt de toon.
!WAARSCHUWING
Er bestaat helaas geen regel die het vliegen na het duiken geheel
vrijwaard voor het risico van decompressieziekte. Er zijn echter adviezen
die de kans op decompressieziekte minimaliseren voor het overgrote deel
van alle duikers. Er blijven echter altijd een aantal duikers waarbij door
speciale duikomstandigheden of een bijzondere fysiologische aard er een
zodanige omstandigheid ontstaat dat toch decompressieziekte ontstaat.
Diver’s Alert Network (DAN) raad aan de eerste 12 uur na de duik niet te
vliegen. Na herhalings- of decompressieduiken of een aangesloten aantal
duikdagen, zou een oppervlakteinterval van minimaal 24 uur dienen te
worden genoten, alvorens te vliegen.

!WAARSCHUWING
Buddy is geen voorstander van het duiken buiten de aanbevolen limieten
binnen het sport duiken. Het duiken buiten deze grenzen vergt een
speciale opleiding en impliceert zekere risico’s.In deze manual is geen
poging gedaan uit te leggen welke afwegingen essentieel zijn voor het
veilig duiken buiten de limieten van het sportduiken, noch over de risico’s.
De informatie in dit hoofdstuk wordt u verstrekt uitsluitend om de grenzen
van de Nexus computer te leren kennen, alsmede welke informatie wordt
getoond in het geval U onbedoeld in een deco-situatie geraakt.
