7.1 Tyre pressure
Tyre pressure affects the range and the comfort of your bike. We recommend that
your tyres always be properly inflated. You are advised to regularly check tyre
pressure.
Recommended pressure: 4.5 Bar front and rear
8 Maintenance
8.1 Servicing your bike
We advise you to take your bike to the vendor for regular inspections. The first
service should take place at 3 months, the second after one year, and then
annually. Regular inspections can avoid long-term damage as well as needless
expense.
Of course, and effort is also required on your part to keep your bike in top
condition for as long as possible. Here are some tips to do just that.
8.2 General maintenance
1 Inspect the tyre pressure and tread.
2 Inspect wear on brakes, perform full adjustments periodically.
3 Clean the pedal sensor with a sponge and warm water if it becomes dirty.
4 Oil the chain.
5 If you notice a problem with a spoke, immediately take the bike to the
vendor for repairs.
8.3 Cleaning
To clean your bike, use a brush to remove dirt and then wash with hot water. Your
bike will be perfectly clean. Regular cleaning makes your bike last longer. Be
careful not to use too much water around the battery. Take care not to let dirt
accumulate between the magnetic washer and the sensor (near the pedal’s axis on
the right side of the bike).
Never use a high pressure hose!
After cleaning, dry your bike using a soft cloth.
8.4 Lubrication
In addition to regular cleaning, it is best to lubricate the bikes gears at the same
time in order to prevent corrosion and make it easier to change gears. We advise
you to lubricate your chain using the grease available from the vendor.
