Servicing
We advise you to have your bike checked out regularly by your distributor. It is wise to have the
first service after the first 3 months and the second after 1 year, with subsequent yearly
services. Be aware that regular servicing can prevent needless damage and therefore also avoid
a lot of needless expense.
Of course, you should also contribute to maintaining your bike in excellent condition
for as long as possible. The following paragraphs contain a number of tips for this
purpose

General maintenance
1 Check the p
ressure and profile of the tyres
2
Check for brake
wear, make precise adjustments from time to time
3
Clean the pedal sensor
with a sponge and lukewarm water if it becomes very dirty
4
Lubricate the chain
5
If you notice a problem with the spokes on one of your wheels, have it repaired
immediately by your stockist.
9.3
Cleaning
Clean your
bike by removing dirt with a brush and then washing with hot water. You bike
will then be clean again. Regular cleaning of the bike lengthens its lifespan. Be careful not
to use too much water near the
battery. Also, make sure that dirt does not get between the
magnetised washer and the sensor (near the
chain transmission axle on the right-hand side of
the bike)
.
Never use a high-pressure cleaner!
After cleaning, dry your bike using a soft cloth.
9.4
Lubrication
In addition to regular cleaning, it is wise to lubricate the gearing at the same time, in order to
avoid any risk of corrosion and ensure greater comfort in changing gear. We advise
you to
lubricate your chain with the vaseline oil available from your stockist.
