Please note the f ollowing points other wise copying will not work: If your SIM card is
PIN protect ed you must remove the PIN befor e taking the SIM out of your mobile.
Entries must be stored on the SIM card itself and not just in your mobile phonebook.
Inser t the SIM card into the SIM car d tray on the side of the base. The SIM should have
the gold chip facing upwards.

Most problems can be fixed with a f ew simple checks.
Problem Solution
No dial tone
Only use the cables and batteries supplied.
Make sur e both the power adaptor cable and telephone
line cord ar e plugged into the correct sock ets
on the base. Make sur e the power is switched on at the
power wall socket and that the telephone line cor d is
plugged in correctly at the telephone wall sock et.
Poor speech quality
Make sur e the product is not located t oo close to other
electrical appliances. This can also help improve the
handset range fr om the base.
Battery icon not full/
handset dead
Make sur e you charge the batteries f or 24 hours befor e use
to ensure maximum batt er y per formance.
Using br oadband on the same
phone line?
Make sur e you plug the phone
into the wall socket via an ADSL
microfilter (not supplied), otherwise
you may have problems with this
product and your br oadband ser vice.
