Point fagot
On utilise le “point fagot” pour l’assemblage de
tissus avec une couture ouverte. Utilisez ce point
pour coudre des chemisiers et des vêtements
d’enfants. Ce point est plus décoratif lorsque vous
utilisez du fil épais.

Pliez les deux pièces de tissu le long de leur
couture à l’aide d’un fer à repasser.

Faufilez les deux pièces de tissu, séparées
d’environ 4,0 mm (3/16"), sur du papier fin ou
sur une feuille de matériau stabilisateur
soluble.

Fixez le pied zigzag “J”.

Sélectionnez le point ou .

Définissez la largeur du point sur 7,0 mm
(1/4").

Effectuez la couture, le centre du pied-de-
biche étant aligné sur le milieu de l’espace
séparant les deux pièces de tissu.

A la fin de la couture, retirez le papier.
Points feston
Le motif répétitif en forme de vagues, ressemblant à
des coquillages, s’appelle “point feston”. Utilisez ce
point sur les cols de chemisiers et pour décorer les
bords des mouchoirs.

Fixez le pied pour monogrammes “N”.

Sélectionnez le point .

Cousez le long du bord du tissu en veillant à
ne pas coudre directement sur le bord du
tissu.
Pour des résultats optimaux, pulvérisez de
l’amidon sur le tissu et appliquez un fer
chaud avant de coudre.

Coupez le long des points.
Veillez à ne pas couper les points.
