NEEDLE Single
The zipper foot is used to sew on various types of zippers and can
easily be positioned to the right or left side of the needle.
When sewing the right side of the zipper, loosen the zipper foot screw
and slide the zipper foot to the left. When sewing the left side of the
zipper, loosen the zipper foot screw and slide the zipper foot to the
right.
1 Thumb screw
1. Lower the needle into a test piece of fabric and adjust the zipper
foot just right or left of the needle. The foot should be close but not
touch the needle.
2 Needle position
2. Tighten the zipper foot screw to lock the presser foot into position.
3. Fold the edge of the fabric 2 cm (3/4") back and place the zipper
under the folded portion. For best results, it is recommended that
both sides of the zipper be sewn from the bottom to the top.
4. For best results, the needle should be positioned on the side of the
foot closest to the zipper. Sew through the fabric close to the edge
of the zipper guiding the zipper foot along the zipper teeth.
5. To sew the opposite side of the zipper, loosen the zipper foot screw,
position the foot so the needle enters the notch on the other side of
the foot as described above and tighten the screw. Sew through the
fabric close to the edge of the zipper on the other side.

Aiguille Simple
Le pied-de-biche pour fermetures est utilisé pour coudre différents ty-
pes de fermetures à glissière et peut facilement être placé à la droite ou
à la gauche de l’aiguille.
Pour coudre le côté droit de la fermeture, desserrer la vis du pied-de-
biche pour fermetures et le faire glisser vers la gauche. Pour coudre le
côté gauche de la fermeture, desserrer la vis du pied-de-biche pour
fermetures et le faire glisser vers la droite.

Vis ailée
1. Abaisser l’aiguille dans une chute de tissu et placer le pied-de-
biche directement à la droite ou à la gauche de l’aiguille. Le pied-
de-biche doit être proche de l’aiguille sans la toucher.

Position de l’aiguille
2. Serrer la vis du pied-de-biche pour fermetures pour le verrouiller à
l’endroit désiré.
3. Faire un pli de 2 cm et placer la fermeture sous le revers. Pour un
meilleur résultat, il est recommandé de coudre les deux côtés de la
fermeture de haut en bas.
4. Pour de meilleurs résultats, l’aiguille doit être placée du côté du
pied-de-biche le plus proche de la fermeture. Coudre le tissu près
du bord de la fermeture en guidant le pied-de-biche pour fermetu-
res le long des dents de la fermeture.
5. Pour coudre le côté opposé de la fermeture, desserrer la vis du
pied-de-biche pour fermetures, placer le pied-de-biche de façon à
ce que l’aiguille entre dans l’encoche de l’autre côté du pied-de-
biche comme indiqué ci-dessus et resserrer la vis. Coudre près du
bord de la fermeture de l’autre côté.
