Deze printer is voorzien van allerlei netwerk-tools waarmee u de status van de
printer via uw computer over het netwerk kunt controleren.
Bij gebruik van deze tools hoeft u niet meer bij uw computer vandaan om te
controleren of de printer naar behoren werkt.
Hieronder volgt een korte beschrijving van deze tools.

Als u TCP/IP gebruikt voor communicatie met de printer, dan kunt u via een
webbrowser over het netwerk de printerstatus controleren en printerinstellingen
bekijken en wijzigen.
1. Zet de computer aan en start uw webbrowser.
2. Typ in het adresvak van uw webbrowser het IP-adres of het internetadres van de
printer, en druk vervolgens op de Entertoets.
3. Het scherm van beheer via het web wordt geopend.
4. Klik op ‘Job Print Log’.
De statusinformatie over de taken in kwestie en elk protocol wordt weergegeven.
✏ Opmerking
Klik op ‘Printlog taak weergeven’ in de structuur aan de linkerkant om de printlog
van voltooide taken te bekijken.
5. Klik op het tabblad ‘Status’.
Er wordt nu informatie over de printer weergegeven.
Het betreft hier informatie over papierladen, de uitvoerlade, kleppen, resterende
levensduur van gebruiksartikelen en toner, en het aantal pagina’s dat is afgedrukt.
6. Klik op ‘Foutstatus’.
Er wordt nu informatie over de gebeurtenis weergegeven.
Gebruik dit om fouten te controleren. Ook de status van het bedieningspaneel van
de printer wordt weergegeven.
