■ Si el botón no cabe en la placa de la guía del
botón
Sume el diámetro y el grosor del botón y, a
continuación, ajuste la placa de la guía del botón a
la longitud calculada. (La distancia entre las marcas
de la escala del pie prensatela es de 5 mm
(3/16 pulg.).)

(Diámetro + grosor del botón)
3 5 mm (3/16 pulg.)
Ejemplo: para un botón con un diámetro de 15 mm
(9/16 pulg.) y un grosor de 10 mm (3/8 pulg.), la placa
de la guía del botón deberá ajustarse en 25 mm (1 pulg.)
en la escala.

Pase el hilo superior por el orificio del pie
prensatela.

Primero tiene que coser la tachuela
delantera. Baje el pie prensatela para
alinear las marcas del pie con la marca de
la tela.

Baje la palanca para ojales y empújela
hacia atrás un poco.

Mientras sujeta suavemente el hilo
superior, ponga a funcionar la máquina.

Las tachuelas del ojal se cosen en el orden
que se muestra.

Pare la máquina cuando termine de coser
el ojal.
● Si se ha interrumpido la costura del ojal,
cosa unas puntadas de prueba una o dos
veces en un retal antes de proseguir con la
labor. Es posible que la costura que se
continúe después de la interrupción no se
realice correctamente.
● Si se van a coser costuras gruesas y la tela
no avanza, cosa con una puntada más
densa (más larga).

Suba la aguja y la palanca del pie
prensatela, retire la tela y corte el hilo.
