2 FUNCIONES DE COSTURA BÁSICAS
Lea lo siguiente antes de utilizar la máquina

Encienda la máquina.

Suba la aguja girando la rueda hacia usted
(en sentido contrario a las manecillas del
reloj), de manera que la marca de la rueda
apunte hacia arriba.

Gire el selector de puntadas para
seleccionar una puntada (consulte las
páginas 9–13).

Cambie el pie prensatela (Consulte la
página 8).

Suba la palanca del pie prensatela.

Coloque la tela debajo del pie prensatela,
pase el hilo debajo del pie prensatela y
saque unos 5 cm (2 pulg.) del hilo hacia la
parte trasera de la máquina.

● Para evitar lesiones, observe con atención la aguja mientras utiliza la máquina. Mantenga las
manos alejadas de las piezas en movimiento.
● No estire ni empuje la tela durante la costura, pues la aguja podría dañarse y producir
lesiones.
● No utilice agujas dobladas o rotas, ya que podría lesionarse.
● Tenga cuidado de que la aguja no golpee los alfileres de hilvanado ni otros objetos durante la
costura. La aguja podría romperse y usted podría lesionarse.
● Utilice siempre el pie prensatela adecuado. Si utiliza un pie prensatela erróneo, la aguja
puede golpearlo y doblarse o romperse, y podría causar lesiones.
● Al girar la rueda a mano, gírela siempre hacia usted (en sentido contrario a las manecillas del
reloj). Si la gira en sentido contrario, el hilo podría engancharse y causar daños en la aguja o
la tecla, y podría lesionarse.
● No comience a coser sin colocar la tela bajo el pie prensatela; de lo contrario, el pie
prensatela podría dañarse.
● No active la máquina mientras mantiene
pulsado el pedal. La máquina podría
arrancar de manera inesperada y
provocar lesiones personales o daños en
la máquina.
