12 Setting up a Bluetooth connection
NOTICE!This function is available only after time has been set automatically or manually!
1. Place the light alarm clock as close as possible to a Bluetooth capable device (e.g. Smartphone or
Tablet-PC).
NOTICE!The maximum reception range of a Bluetooth device is approx. 10 meters.
1. Press Bluetooth button on the light larm clock for approx. 3 seconds until a signal tone sounds.
The Bluetooth function indicator lights red.
2. Enable Bluetooth function on the mobile device and search for the light alarm clock called 'Bresser
WakeUp'. Find more information in the manual of the mobile device.
NOTICE!If the light alarm clock can not be found, repeat steps 1 to 3. Disable Bluetooth func-
tion of the mobile device and the light alarm clock one after another if neccessary and enable
again in reverse order.
1. Once the light alarm clock was found through the mobile device, select the connection and follow
the instructions on the mobile device. If the conncection was successful, the light colour changes
to green.
2. Start your favorite audio files on the mobile device. The light alarm clock will function as a loud-
speaker. Change the volume by pressing the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN buttons on the
light alarm clock and/or use the volume adjustment on the mobile device.
3. To disable the Bluetooth connection press the Bluetooth button again for approx. 3 seconds until a
signal tone sounds. The Bluetooth function indicator lights off.
13 Setting the radio
NOTICE!This function is available only after time has been set automatically or manually!
1. Press RADIO/SLEEP button to switch from normal mode to radio function mode. The screen dis-
play changes from date display to current FM radio frequency display.
2. Open the compartment for the antenna, pull out the antenna cable an place it anywere to improve
the reception quality.
3. Press the UP or DOWN button to set the frequency for the desired radio channel. Press UP or
DOWN button for approx 3 seconds to start an automatic frequency scan.
NOTICE!Other electronic devices in the household and in addition the specific nature of a build-
ing (e.g. metal facade) can also affect the reception quality. Other electronic devices in the

1. Press the MODE button for approx. 3 seconds to switch to the radio channel memory. The number
of the next free radio channel memory will flash (P01 to P10).
2. Press UP or DOWN button to select the desired memory.
3. In radio function mode press MODE button several times if neccessary to select the saved radio
cahnnels.
NOTICE!If the power supply is interrupted, all saved information will be lost.
1. Change volume by pressing the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN button.
2. Press RADIO/SLEEP button again to switch back to normal mode. Screen display will switch back
to date display.
14 Sleeptimer
NOTICE!This function is available only after time has been set automatically or manually!
With the sleep function, a fixed time period (15 - 90 minutes) can be set in which the radio switches off
automatically.
