B. Absorber mode
a) In the extraction mode, the device is connected to a
ventilation duct and draws air out of the building.
b) Before assembling the hood as a kitchen hood,
make sure that the extraction area has been selected
correctly, and that the selected ventilation channel is
not used as a gas exhaust ue.

6) Install a fat lter and make sure it has been secured
before using the device.
B. Carbon lter (absorber mode)
It is recommended to regularly replace the carbon lters, at
least once every three months.
1) Switch o the device and disconnect the mains plug.
2) Loosen the lter clips.
3) Remove the lters by pulling them down. Be careful
not to bend the lters.
4) Wash the lters in warm water and mild detergent.
Allow the lters to dry.
5) Before retting, make sure that the lter clips are
on the underside of the lter and that lter inlet
a) In the lter mode, the device works on the principle
of indoor air circulation; it is not connected to the
ventilation duct.
b) It is recommended to use a exible aluminium
conduit, installed at the air outlet, which draws air to
the vicinity of the ventilation openings in the upper
grille. Do not use rigid metal or plastic conduits.
c) In the lter mode, suitable carbon lters must be
used.
CONTROL
The device is controlled by means of buttons on the front
panel of the hood main module.
1) Press the [a] button to start the fan.
2) Press the [b], [c] or [d] button to change the fan
speed.
3) Press the [e] button to turn the lighting on/o.
4) When you have nished the work, press the [a]
button to stop the fan.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
FILTER MAINTENANCE
A. Filter
Filters in the form of layered grilles are located on the
underside of the device. It is recommended to clean them
regularly, at least once every two months.
1) Switch o the device and disconnect the mains plug.
2) Remove the lters according to the above
instructions.
3) Remove the used carbon lter and replace it with
a new one. The click indicates the lter has been
properly installed.
4) Install the lter according to the above instructions.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
a) Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to cool
completely before each cleaning, adjustment or
replacement of accessories, or if the device is not
being used. Wait for the rotating elements to stop.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c) After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
d) Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
e) Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
f) The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical eciency and spot any damage.
g) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
h) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning
(e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
i) It is recommended to regularly clean the hood lter.
The fat residue on the lter is ammable and may be
a re hazard.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is being used. There should be at least 10 cm distance
between each side of the device and the wall or other
objects. The device should always be used when positioned
on an even, stable, clean, reproof and dry surface, and
be out of the reach of children and persons with limited
mental and sensory functions. Position the device such that
you always have access to the power plug. The power cord
connected to the appliance must be properly grounded
and correspond to the technical details on the product
label.
ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
PLEASE NOTE! Observe the applicable regulations
regarding exhaust ventilation during installation.
PLEASE NOTE! During installation, ensure that the hood is
xed symmetrically to the cooktop.
Before installing the device, remove the protective lm
from its surface.
We recommend that you install the unit with at least two
persons.

3) Place the upper grille mounting bracket [3] against
the wall, approx. 20 mm from the ceiling surface or
the upper limit of the installation space.
4) Mark the spots for holes in the mounting bracket.
5) Mark the spots for two hood mounting screws at 268
mm above the underside of the hood.
6) Mark the spots for two hood mounting screws at
209.5 mm below those mentioned in point 5.
7) Drill ø1 0 mm holes in the marked locations.
8) Place the wall anchors and screws in the drilled holes.
B. Installing the hood
1) Hang the hood on the mounting screws
2) Align the device and tighten the mounting screws.
C. Flap installation
A. Installing the brackets
1) Mark a vertical line between the ceiling and the oor
at the level where you intend to install the hood.
The line will determine the axis of installation of the
device.
2) Mark a horizontal line above the stove top (650 mm
for an electric panel, 750 mm for a gas stove). This
designates the underside of the hood [1].
1) Attach the aps to the air outlet [9].
2) Correctly fastened aps should be easy to open and
close.
D. Installing telescopic grilles
1) Carefully slide the top grille [3] into the bottom grille
[2].
2) Place the bottom grille [2] at the marked area on the
surface of the hood main module [1].
3) Install the grille [2] on the previously prepared
mounting bracket and secure with screws.
4) Carefully pull the upper grille out [3], and then install
the grille on the previously prepared mounting
bracket.
5) Secure the grille with screws.
When you nish the hood installation, connect the device
to the power source.
