Val av rätt manschett

För exakt mätning är det viktigt att välja rätt manschettstorlek som passar överarmen. Välj

manschettstorlek efter din arms omkrets och se till att manschetten längst ner benner sig 2 till 3 cm

ovanför armbågen.

• Liten/medelstor manschett = 22–32 cm armomkrets

• Stor/extra stor manschett = 32–42 cm armomkrets

Sätta på armmanschetten

1. För den ände på armmanschetten som benner sig längst bort från slangen genom metallringen

till en rund form. Det släta tyget ska nnas på insidan av armmanschetten.

2. Anslut luftslangen till kontakten till anslutningen (g. 4).

3. Om manschetten sitter rätt ska kardborrdelen sitta utvändigt och metallringen ska inte vidröra

huden (g. 5).

4. Stoppa in vänster arm genom armmanschetten. Se till att manschetten längst ner benner sig 2 till

3cm ovanför armbågen. Slangen ska ligga över pulsådern på insidan av armen (g. 6).

5. Dra i manschetten så att övre och nedre kant spänns åt runt armen (g. 7).

6. När manschetten är korrekt placerad, tryck fast kardborrdelen så att den sitter stadigt.

7. Manschetten är lämplig att använda om märkningen <<index>> hamnar innanför

<<ok-intervallet>> som är utmärkt med två pilar när manschetten sitter åt runt armen (g. 8).

8. Sitt på en stol och placera armen på bordet så att manschetten benner sig i höjd med ditt

hjärta (g. 9).
