Valg af den rette manchet

For nøjagtig måling er det vigtigt at vælge manchetten med den størrelse, som passer bedst på

din overarm. Vælg manchetstørrelsen i henhold til armens omkreds, og sørg for at underkanten af

manchetten sidder 2 ~ 3 cm over albuen.

• Lille/medium manchet = 22–32 cm armomkreds

• Stor/ekstrastor manchet = 32–42 cm armomkreds

Påsætning af manchetten

1. Skub enden af manchetten længst væk fra slangen gennem metalringen. Det glatte stof skal være

på indersiden af manchetten.

2. Slut luftslangen til konnektoren (g. 4).

3. Hvis manchetten er placeret korrekt, vil velcroen være på ydersiden af manchetten,

og metalringen vil ikke røre ved huden (g. 5).

4. Før din venstre arm gennem åbningen i manchetten. Underkanten af manchetten skal være ca.

(2~3cm) over albuen. Slangen skal ligge over hovedpulsåren på indersiden af armen (g. 6).

5. Træk i manchetten, således at over- og underkanten strammes omkring armen (g. 7).

6. Når manchetten er placeret korrekt, skal du trykke velcroen fast mod den ”langhårede”

side af manchetten.

7. Denne manchet er egnet til brug, hvis <<index>>-mærket ligger inden for <<ok-området>>,

som er markeret med to pile, når manchetten er strammet til omkring armen (g. 8).

8. Sæt dig på en stol og læg din arm på bordet, så manchetten er i samme højde som dit hjerte

(g.9).
