Elegir el manguito correcto
Para una medición precisa, es importante elegir el maguito
de la talla correcta que mejor se ajuste a la parte superior del
brazo. Elija el tamaño del manguito según la circunferencia
del brazo y asegúrese que la parte inferior del manguito se
encuentra entre 2-3cm por encima del codo. (Fig. 3)
Manguito pequeño / medio (BP 4000, BP 4020, BP 5000) =
23-33 cm de circunferencia de brazo
Grande / Xgrande (BP 4010, BP 4020, BP 5010) =
33-43 cm de circunferencia de brazo
Aplicación del manguito del brazo
1. Presione la arteria humeral con dos dedos por encima del codo en la
parte interior de su brazo izquierdo. (Figura 4)
2. Determine cuál es su pulso más fuerte. Deslice el extremo del manguito
del brazo más alejado del tubo a través del anillo metálico hasta un bucle.
El paño suave debe encontrarse cobre la parte interior del manguito.
Lo que debe saber antes de tomarse la tensión arterial
. No gire de manera alguna el manguito del brazo.
. No ine el manguito del monitor cuando no esté colocado alrededor del brazo.
. No intente desmontar o cambiar cualquier pieza del monitor incluyendo el manguito.
. No deje caer el producto o lo someta a un impacto fuerte.
. Se supone que el dispositivo no debe emplearse si el brazo presenta alguna lesión o herida.
