Valg af den korrekte manchet

Det er vigtigt at du vælger den rigtige størrelse, der passer

bedst til din overarm, for at opnå præcise målinger. Vælg

manchetstørrelse i overensstemmelse med omkredsen af din

overarm, og kontroller at den nederste kant af manchetten er

2-3 cm over albuen. (Fig. 3)

Lille/mellem manchet (BP 4000, BP 4020, BP 5000) =

23-33 cm arm omkreds

Stor/ekstra stor manchet (BP 4010, BP 4020, BP 5010) =

33-43 cm arm omkreds

Påsætning af manchetten

1. Føl på den brachiale arterie med to ngre over albuen, på indersiden af din

venstre arm. (Fig. 4)

2. Bestem hvor den stærkeste puls føles. Sæt den ende af manchet albuen,

der er længst væk fra slangen i gennem metalringen, så der dannes en

løkke. Det glatte stof skal være på indersiden af manchetten. (Fig. 4)

Hvad du bør vide før du udfører en blodtryksmåling

• Manchetten må ikke vrides på nogen måde.

• Pump ikke manchetten op, når den ikke er sat på armen.

• Forsøg ikke at adskille eller ændre nogen dele af blodtryksmåleren eller manchetten.

• Tab ikke produktet eller udsæt det for hårde stød.

• Enheden må ikke benyttes, hvis din arm har sår eller skader.
