Inserción de las pilas
• Utilice solo pilas alcalinas del tipo LR 03 (AAA)
(ej. Duracell Ultra) como las que se incluyen en este
producto o pilas recargables.
• Retire la tapa del compartimento de pilas (F), inserte
2 pilas con las polaridades correctamente colocadas
(mire el símbolo en el compartimento de las pilas (E)).
• Unas nuevas pilas (Duracell Ultra) podrán proporcio-
narle, aproximadamente unas 300 mediciones.
• Deseche sólo las pilas agotadas. No deben ser tiradas
a la basura común, sino en un lugar apropiado o bien
entregadas a su proveedor.
Uso de pilas recargables
En caso de utilizar pilas recargables, el símbolo de
batería baja puede aparecer en la pantalla antes que con
las pilas alcalinas.
No obstante esto no afectara a la precisión de la medida.
Reglas básicas para la correcta medición
de la presión arterial
• Realice siempre las mediciones a la misma hora del
día, preferentemente por la mañana y en las mismas
condiciones cada vez.
• Si ha fumado, tomado café o té espérese al menos 30
minutos antes de realizar la medición.
• Quítese el reloj y las joyas antes de ponerse el aparato
en la muñeca.
• Durante la medición, siéntese, relájese, permanezca
tranquilo y no se mueva o hable.
• Mantenga el aparato a la altura del corazón.
• Espere, aproximadamente, 3 minutos antes de repetir
la medición.
