Lichaamstemperatuur
De normale lichaamstemperatuur ligt binnen een bepaald
temperatuurbereik. De onderstaande tabel
1
laat zien dat dit bereik
tevens afhankelijk is van de plaats van meting. Daarom kunnen
temperaturen die op verschillende plaatsen worden gemeten, zelfs
als deze op hetzelfde moment worden gemeten, niet direct met
elkaar worden vergeleken.
Bovendien daalt het normale temperatuurbereik naarmate een
persoon ouder wordt. De volgende tabel laat normale temperatuur-
bereiken zien per leeftijdsgroep wanneer wordt gemeten met de
ThermoScan.

Het normale temperatuurbereik varieert van persoon tot persoon en
kan worden beïnvloed door vele factoren zoals het moment van de
dag, mate van activiteit, medicijn gebruik en geslacht.
