• For everyday use, the handle can be stored
on the plugged-in charging unit to maintain
the toothbrush at full power. Overcharging is
impossible.
Battery maintenance
To maintain the maximum capacity of the
rechargeable battery, you must discharge it at
least once every 6 months. To do this, unplug
the charging unit and allow the battery to run
down with normal use.
Using the toothbrush
• Wet brushhead and apply toothpaste.
• Place brushhead on teeth, then switch on.
• Slowly guide the brushhead from tooth to
tooth, first the outsides, then the insides,
finally the chewing surfaces. Do not press
too hard or scrub.
• After two minutes (brushing time
recommended by dentists) the timer
(D 12523, D 12513 model only) will signal by
a short stutter.
• During the first days of use, gums may
bleed slightly. Should bleeding persist after
2 weeks, contact your dentist.
• Replace brushhead every 3 months, when
bristles are worn (1c) or when colour on

bristles (1b) has faded half-way
down the bristles.
Cleaning
After use, rinse the brushhead under running
water (2). Remove the brushhead and rinse
brushhead and handle separately (3), then dry.

environment, please do not dispose of
the product in the household waste at

Mise en charge
• Brancher le chargeur (E) dans une prise
électrique. Placer le corps de brosse sur le
chargeur. La poignée doit être sur «Off».
• Un cycle de charge complet prend
16 heures et vous permettra d’utiliser votre
brosse à dents pendant environ 20 minutes.
• Pour une utilisation quotidienne, le corps de
brosse peut rester posé sur le chargeur
branchée pour que la brosse à dents
électrique conserve sa pleine capacité.
Toute surcharge est impossible.
Entretien de la batterie
Afin de conserver la capacité maximale de la
batterie rechargeable, vous devez la décharger
complètement au moins une fois tous les 6
mois. Pour ce faire, débrancher le chargeur et
laisser la batterie s’épuiser en utilisant la
brosse à dents normalement.
Utilisation de la brosse à dents
• Humecter la tête de la brosse et appliquer
du dentifrice.
•Poser la brosse sur les dents, avant de la
mettre en marche.
• Déplacer lentement la brosse de dent en
dent, d’abord la face externe puis interne, et
terminer par les surfaces de mastication. Ne
pas appuyer ou frotter trop fort.
• Après deux minutes (temps de brossage
recommandé par les dentistes) le minuteur
(uniquement pour la D 12523, D 12513)
émettra un signal par des interruptions
brèves de la brosse.
• Lors des premiers jours d’utilisation, il est
possible que les gencives saignent
légèrement. Si le saignement persiste après
2 semaines, contactez votre dentiste.
• Remplacer la bro
ssette tous les 3 mois,
lorsque les poils sont émoussés (1c) ou
lorsque l’indicateur coloré sur les poils (1b)
s’est effacé jusqu’à mi-hauteur.
Nettoyage
Après usage, rincer la brossette sous l’eau
courante (2). Retirer la brossette et rincer la
tête et la poignée séparément (3), puis sécher.
