USO DEL CAJÓN CALIENTAPLATOS

SELECCIÓN DE LA TEMPERATURA :
El selector de temperatura permite regular una temperatura comprendida
entre 30 y 70 °C.
En la escala de temperatura, he aquí las temperaturas ideales para el tipo de
vajilla utilizada :
40 °C : para las tazas o los vasos. Cuando las bebi das calientes se sirven
en tazas o vasos precalentados a esta temperatura se mantienen
calientes durante más tiempo y el recipiente puede tocarse sin riesgo de
quemarse.
60 °C : para los platos y fuentes. Los alimentos qu e se sirven en platos o
fuentes precalentados a esta temperatura se mantienen calientes y los
recipientes pueden tocarse sin riesgo de quemarse.
TIEMPO DE PRECALENTAMIENTO :
El tiempo de precalentamiento depende de varios factores :
material y espesor de la vajilla
carga
disposición de la carga
regulación de la temperatura
Por lo tanto, no es posible dar valores comprobables de forma constante.
Algunas indicaciones :
Para un ajuste de temperatura de 60 °C, el precalen tamiento homogéneo :
de la vajilla que se necesita para una comida de seis personas es de
aproximadamente 30 min.
de la vajilla que se necesita para una comida de doce personas es de
aproximadamente 40 min.
Con la experiencia, Ud. logrará determinar cuál es el tiempo de
precalentamiento más apropiado para su vajilla.
