6 / ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING VAN HET APPARAAT

REINIGING VAN DE KATALYTISCHE OVEN

•

- Deze oven bestaat uit een ommanteling uitgerust met uitneembare panelen bekleed met een

speciale microporeuze email (katalytische email) die zelfontvettende eigenschappen verleent

aan de oven. De etensresten zetten zich af op en verspreiden zich in de microporiën. Ze oxide-

ren aan beide zijden en verdwijnen beetje bij beetje. Het zelfontvettend email is vooral geschikt

voor vetten, niet voor suikers. Daarom is de ovenbodem, die meer onderhevig is aan overkoken-

de suikers, niet bekleed met dit email.

Wij raden sterk aan:

- De katalytische wanden niet af te krabben met een metalen borstel, scherpe of snijdende voor-

werpen.

- Ze niet te reinigen met producten die in de handel verkrijgbaar zijn.

- Bij het bakken van grillgerechten, is de temperatuur van de wanden niet altijd voldoende hoog

om grove vetspatten te elimineren.

In dat geval moet na het bakken de cyclus nog 20 tot 20 minuten voortgezet worden op de maxi-

male temperatuur van de gekozen sequentie.

Indien er sporen achterblijven, zullen die verminderen bij volgende balcycli.
