12. Disposal instrucons
In line with the European WEEE direcve, electrical and electronic devices should
not be disposed of along with domesc waste. Their components have to be sent
separately for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous
components may permanently damage the environment.
According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are
obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic de-
vices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collecon points at the end
of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The
symbol on the product, in the user manual or/and the packaging refers to these
regulaons. With this manner of sorng, recycling and disposal of used devices,
you make an important contribuon towards protecng our environment.
13. Warranty declaraon
Regardless of statutory warranty claims, the manufacturer grants a warranty pur-
suant to the laws of your country, however, at least 1 year (2 years in Germany).
The warranty starts on the date that the device has been sold to the consumer.
The warranty covers exclusively defects based on material or manufacturing de-
fects. Repairs under this warranty may be performed exclusively by an authorized
customer service centre. Submit the original sales receipt (showing date of sale) to
assert your warranty claim.
The following are excluded from the warranty:
- Normal wear
- Improper use, e.g. overloading the device, unapproved accessories
- Damage caused by external inuences, force, or foreign objects
- Damage caused by noncompliance with these operang instrucons,
e.g. connecng to the wrong voltage or noncompliance with the
installaon instrucons
- Fully or parally disassembled devices
