S Install the appliance in a cool, well
ventilated room, but not in direct
sunlight and not near a heat source
(radiator, cooker, etc.). Otherwise,
useĂan insulating plate.
S Leave warm food and drinks to cool
down first.
S Thaw frozen food by placing it in the
refrigerator compartment. The low
temperature of the frozen food will
thenĂcool the food in the refrigerator
compartment.
S Open the appliance door as briefly
asĂpossible.
S Defrost and clean the appliance.
S Occasionally clean the rear of the
appliance with a vacuum cleaner or
paint brush to prevent an increased
power consumption.
S A noise is emitted by the
motor (compressor). When the motor
switches ON, the noise may briefly
increase in volume.
S or noise
is emitted by the refrigerant as it flows
through the tubing.
S A noise can be heard when the
thermostat switches the motor ON/OFF.
