Apparatet gøres grundig rent indvendigt, før
det bruges for første gang (se rengøring).
Tænding
Drej på temperaturvælgeren (Figur W), som er
indstillet på "0"; således påbegyndes
fryseprocessen.
Bemærkninger:
når apparatet er igang, dannes der vanddråber
eller et rimlag på dets bagside. Dette er
normalt. Apparatet foretager automatisk
optøning, hvorfor det ikke er nødvendigt
hverken at skrabe rimen eller at fjerne
vanddråberne. Vandet føres via afløbsrenden
(fig.k/5) og ender i en bakke bag på
apparatet, hvor det fordamper.
Når døren til fryserummet lukkes, finder der et
vakuum sted; afvent 2-3 minutter med at åbne
påny for at lette trykket i rummet.
Valg af temperatur
Benyt temperaturvælgeren (Figur W) til
regulering af temperaturen inde i køleskab og
dybfryser afhængigt af den atmosfæriske
temperatur. De høje cifre svarer til lave
temperaturgrader.
Når temperaturvælgeren står på "0", er der
slukket for køleprocessen. Denne proces
begynder, når der er indstillet på "1".
Der anbefales en middelindstilling for
temperaturen (ca. "2-3").
Til dybfrysning af fødevarer drejes
temperaturvælgeren til stilling ~ "3" (se også
“Dybfrysning").
Vitgit med hensyn til
opbevaring af dybfrosne
produkter
Hvis temperaturen på stedet, der er beregnet
til apparatets anbringelse, falder til under
+18ºC, skal dybfrysningen afbrydes, hvorved
den røde afmærkning bliver synlig (figur W/22),
Når dette foretages forbliver det indvendige lys
tændt med sænket styrke; derved
vedligeholdes temperaturen, der er nødvendig
til længere tids opbevaring i fryserummet.
