Warnings
The coolant used in this unit is Isobutane
(R600a). Isobutane is a natural gas which is
compatible with the environment, however it
must be taken into account that it is an
inflammable gas. Therefore, when the
appliance is moved from one place to
another or when it is to be installed, ensure
that none of the components of the
refrigerating circuit are damaged. If any of
the parts should suffer any accidental
damage the unit must categorically not be
exposed to any live flame or igniting source,
and the place in which the appliance is
located must be left to ventilate for a few
minutes.
Disposing of the old appliance
When an old unit is no longer requiered,
please take precautions to render it
unserviceable immediately. Remove the plug
and cut the lead off. Disassemble the lock or
closure mechanism or make it inoperable in
order to prevent the risk of children being
locked inside while they are playing, thus
endangering their life. Refrigerators and
freezers contain insulant gases and coolants
which must be disposed of in the
appropriate way. In addition, they are
manufactured with raw materials that may be
reused. Therefore, call your local Council
Collection Service to dispose of the
appliance.
In the event of any doubts, contact your
Local Authority or consult your Distributor.
Take care to avoid the pipes being damaged
whilst the appliance awaits collection by the
appropiate service and insist on a method of
disposal that repescts the Environment.

The new appliance’s
packaging
All the materials used in the packaging of your
new appliance may be disposed safely.
The cardboard can be cut into small pieces and
disposed of in the appropriate container for used
paper.
The polyethylene sheets (PE) and the
polystyrene blocks and protectors (PS) do not
contain CFHC.
Reusable materials and those that have some
value that can be taken to a collection centre for
treatment or recycling.
Consult your Local Council or find out the
address of your local Collection Centres for
packaging and old appliances.
Safety norms
This appliance has been designed chilling and
freezing food and for ice-making exclusively for
domestic purposes.
The room temperature in the place where the
refrigerator is installed must be between +10ºC
and +32ºC.
If the temperature of the place of installation
falls lower than +18ºC, it is necessary to turn on
the freezing switch. A red light will be visible
(Figure s/22). On carrying out this operation,
the interior light will stay on at reduced power
and in this way the necessary temperature will
be maintained inside the freezer compartment
for long-term food storage.
In the event that the appliance is used for other
purposes its conformity to the norms in force
relating to the corresponding sector of activity
must be guaranteed.
In the same way, comply with the norms
regarding accident prevention for refrigerating
installations (VGB 20). The refrigerating circuit
has been tested for leaks.
The appliance has been manufactured
according to the safety norms laid down for
refrigerating appliances. All repairs must be
carried out by qualified personnel.
All repairs carried out by unqualified personnel
can cause serious risks to the user.
