f) Si fuese imprescindible utilizar la herramienta

eléctrica en un entorno húmedo, es necesario co-

nectarla a través de un fusible diferencial. La apli-

cación de un fusible diferencial reduce el riesgo a

exponerse a una descarga eléctrica.

3) Seguridad de personas

a) Esté atento a lo que hace y emplee la herramienta

eléctrica con prudencia. No utilice la herramienta

eléctrica si estuviese cansado, ni tampoco des-

pués de haber consumido alcohol, drogas o medi-

camentos. El no estar atento durante el uso de la

herramienta eléctrica puede provocarle serias le-

siones.

b) Utilice un equipo de protección personal y en to-

do caso unas gafas de protección. El riesgo a lesio-

narse se reduce considerablemente si, dependien-

do del tipo y la aplicación de la herramienta

eléctrica empleada, se utiliza un equipo de protec-

ción adecuado como una mascarilla antipolvo, za-

patos de seguridad con suela antideslizante, casco,

o protectores auditivos.

c) Evite una puesta en marcha fortuita. Asegurarse

de que la herramienta eléctrica esté desconecta-

da antes de conectarla a la toma de corriente y/o

al montar el acumulador, al recogerla, y al trans-

portarla. Si transporta la herramienta eléctrica su-

jetándola por el interruptor de conexión/desco-

nexión, o si introduce el enchufe en la toma de

corriente con la herramienta eléctrica conectada,

ello puede dar lugar a un accidente.
