Laita kokonainen lintu ritilälle ensin rintapuoli alaspäin. Käännä,
kun
Z annetusta ajasta on kulunut.
Käännä paistinpalat, kuten kalkkunan käärepaisti tai
kalkkunanrinta, kun puolet annetusta ajasta on kulunut. Käännä
linnunpalat, kun
Z ajasta on kulunut.
Pistele ankan ja hanhen siipien alle nahkaan reikiä. Näin rasva
pääsee valumaan pois.
Linnusta tulee erityisen rapean ruskea, jos sivelet sen
paistoajan loppupuolella voilla, suolavedellä tai
appelsiinimehulla.
Kala
Käännä kalanpalat, kun
Z ajasta on kulunut.
Kokonaista kalaa ei tarvitse kääntää. Laita kokonainen kala
uuniin vatsalleen, selkäevät ylöspäin. Sopivasti leikattu peruna
tai pieni uuninkestävä vuoka kalan vatsassa auttaa pitämään
kalan pystyssä.
Lisää kalafileeseen muutama ruokalusikallinen nestettä
haudutusta varten.
