Conducting an appliance self-

test

1. Switch off the appliance.

2. Switch the appliance back on after

approx. fiveminutes. →Page42

3. Within 10seconds of switching on,

press and hold for three to five

seconds until –24°C lights up on

the temperature display and an

audible signal sounds.

aThe appliance self-test starts when

the temperature displays light up in

succession.

aWhile the appliance self-test is run-

ning, a long audible signal sounds.

aIf, at the end of the appliance self-

test, two audible signals sound

and the temperature display indic-

ates the set temperature, your ap-

pliance is OK. The appliance then

switches to normal operation.

aIf the freezer compartment was too

warm before the appliance self-

test, the temperature alarm

switches on.

aIf, at the end of the appliance self-

test, flashes for 10seconds,

inform the after-sales service.
