5. Luxómetro
Con el luxómetro se puede comparar la intensidad de iluminación
de los faros, después de haber realizado el enfoque.
El botón giratorio para la cota de ajuste ha de encontrarse siempre
en la posición correspondiente a la cota de 10 cm/10 m.
Luz de cruce: La intensidad de iluminación ha de permanecer-
por debajo del valor admisible de deslumbra-
miento. Oprimir la tecla del luxómetro. En la
escala designada con "A", la aguja debe per-
manecer dentro del campo verde.
Luz de carretera: La intensidad de iluminación ha de alcanzar el
valor mínimo admisible. La aguja debe llegar al
campo verde de la escala designada con "F".

6. Mantenimiento y conservación
El alineador de faros es un aparato óptico de medición exacta. Para
conservar esta exactitud de medición, deberia evitarse que el
mismo recibiera golpes y un trato rudo, sin cuidado.
A intervalos determinados deberia comprobarse la precisión de la
indicación del alineador de faros.
Ello es especialmente importante para talleres que realizan traba-
jos en conformidad con las disposiciones de la ley.
Además, recomendamos concertar un contrato de mantenimiento
con el Servicio Bosch pertinente. La comprobación la realiza
personal especializado con los aparatos correspondientes, según
las especificaciones técnicas de la fábrica.
Para la conservación, hay que lubricar de vez en cuando las ruedas
con algunas gotas de aceite.
¡La columna de guía debe mantenerse seca, sin grasa ni aceite!
La lente y el espejo deben mantenerse limpios, frotándolos con un
paño suave.
