Setting the Operating Mode
You can set the required operating mode using the mode se-
lector switch (4). To do this, set the switch to the relevant
operating mode.

Switching On and Off
To switch on the power tool, press the on/off switch (5).
The worklight (10) lights up when the on/off switch (5) is
lightly or fully pressed, allowing the work area to be illumin-
ated in poor lighting conditions.
To switch off the power tool, release the on/off switch
(5).
For low temperatures, the power tool reaches the full ham-
mer/impact capacity only after a certain time.
Adjusting the Speed/Impact Rate
Adjust the speed/impact rate of the power tool when it is
on by pressing in the on/off switch(5) to varying extents.
Applying light pressure to the on/off switch(5) results in a
low rotational speed/impact rate. Applying increasing pres-
sure to the switch increases the speed/impact rate.
Temperature-dependent overload protection
In normal conditions of use, the power tool cannot be over-
loaded. If the power tool is overloaded or the permitted bat-
tery temperature is exceeded, the electronics of the power
tool will switch off until the temperature returns to within the
optimum operating temperature range.
Practical Advice
uOnly apply the power tool to the screw/nut when the
tool is switched off. Rotating tool inserts can slip off.
