On a Bosch AHS 550 - 16 hedge trimmer, how do you undo the c : 4786

On a Bosch AHS 550 - 16 hedge trimmer, how do you undo the centre screw (which appears to have a metal blocking ball preventing the torx key having any purchase)? All the other screws undo easily with a 20 torx key
