e. g., with the aid of a small screwdriver, and slide the
tool bit 12 over the drive square. Take care that the pin
engages in the recess of the tool bit.
Removing
Press in the pin in the recess of the tool bit 12 and pull
the tool bit out of the tool holder 11.
Operating Instructions
Putting into Operation
The air tool operates optimally with a pressure of
6.3 bar (91 psi) measured at the air inlet with the tool
running.
f Pay attention to the direction of rotation that
is set before switching on the pneumatic tool.
For example, when a screw is to be loosened and
the direction of rotation is set so that the screw is
tightened, this can lead to a strong torque reaction
of the pneumatic tool.
Reversing the Rotational Direction
Right rotation: To screw in screws, turn the rotational
direction switch 9 in the given direction of the arrow to
the leftuntil it stops.
Left rotation: To loosen or to unscrew screws, turn
the rotational direction switch 9 in the given direction of
the arrow to the right until it stops.
f Operate the rotational direction switch 9 only
when the pneumatic tool is at a standstill.
Switching On and Off
Note: If the tool does not start after, for example, not
being used for a long period of time, disconnect the air
supply and turn the motor repeatedly by rotating the
tool bit holder 11. This eliminates adhesive forces.
The screwdriver have a shut-off clutch
that depends on the torque and can be set
in the given range. It responds when the
torque that is set is reached.
Switching on: Press the on/off switch 5 to the
stop. The screwdriver switches off automatically when
the adjusted torque setting is reached.
Switching off: Release the on/off switch 5.
f When the on/off switch 5 is released prema-
turely, the preset torque is not reached.
Working Instructions
f Disconnect the air hose from the air source
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing the pneumatic tool.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the pneumatic tool accidentally.
f Place the tool bit onto the nut/screw only
when the screwdriver is switched off. Rotating
tool bits can slide off the nut/screw.
f In the event of an interruption of the air sup-
ply or reduced operating pressure, switch off
the pneumatic tool. Check the operating pres-
sure and restart the tool when the operating
pressure is again optimal.
Excess loads that cause the pneumatic tool to stall or
reduce speed will not damage the motor.
