2.7 Onderhoudstips

Voor een juiste werking moeten de kogelkop en de opnamehuls steeds schoon zijn.
De draag- en glijvlakken moeten met harsvrij vet regelmatig worden ingevet. Het slot moet met grafiet
worden ingespoten.
De kogel op de kogelkop voor de opname van de trekkogelkoppeling van de aanhangwagen moet steeds
worden ingevet (minder slijtage).
Controleer regelmatig de diameter van de kogel. Zodra de diameter op een willekeurige plaats nog
maar 49 mm bedraagt, mag de afneembare kogelkop met het oog op de veiligheid niet meer worden
gebruikt.
Attentie!
Overeenkomstig 70/222/EG moet de kentekenplaat goed
zichtbaar zijn. U bent dan ook wettelijk verplicht de kogelkop bij
het rijden zonder aanhangwagen te demonteren, als de kogel
zoals in de afbeelding boven de onderzijde van de
kentekenplaat ligt. Als dit wordt nagelaten kunt u een boete
krijgen.
Attentie!
Bij het schoonmaken van de auto met een hogedrukreiniger moet de kogelkop worden verwijderd
en moet de afsluitstop in de opnamehuls worden geplaatst. De kogelkop niet met een
hogedrukreiniger reinigen, daar hierbij het voor de smering noodzakelijke vet wordt
weggespoten.
