NOTE:
The knives in the mixing jug are also suitable for the crush-
ing of small quantities of pure ice. However, remember that
this may blunt the knives.
Recommendation:
When preparing drinks with crushed ice, add the ice cubes
while mixing. The ice is crushed during mixing.
Do not use the blender without ingredients!
Do not exceed the maximum capacity (1500 ml) as indicat-
ed on the mixing container!
Froth requires a large capacity. Reduce quantities of
liquids which produce a lot of froth.
Only turn on the mixer with the lid and the tted cap.
Secure the lid by turning it a short distance clockwise.
Do not remove the lid during operation! Wait until the
blade comes to a stop before you open the lid.
Should you not be satised with the mixing results,
proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the appliance.
2. Remove the lid from the blender jug.
3. Loosen any stuck-on ingredients with a dough scraper.
Stir the ingredients with the dough scraper.
4. Remove some of the contents. Process smaller quanti-
ties or add some liquid.

NOTE:
The mixer jug has a mark at the bottom. The symbols
and can be found on the motor housing.
1. Align the mixer jug marking with the
symbol.
2. Turn the mixing bowl towards . It latches into place.
Preparation
1. Cut all ingredients in small pieces.
2. Fill the ingredients into the blender jug. Observe the
maximum capacity.
3. Fit the lid onto the blender jug.
4. Close the lid with the stopper (18).
Operating the Mixer
Any speed can be selected with the control knob.
If the blender jug is very full or if it contains a foaming liquid,
always start with step 1.

1. Switch the appliance off. Wait until the blade comes to a
stop.
2. Fill in ingredients or spices through the stopper opening.
3. Close lid and stopper opening again.
4. Continue operation.
Stop Operation
1. Switch the appliance off. Wait until the blade comes to a

2. Disconnect from mains power supply.
3. Turn the mixing bowl in the direction of
from the motor
housing.
4. Remove the lid before pouring out the contents.
5. Clean all used parts as described under “Cleaning”.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Do not store citrus juices or acidic foodstuffs in metal
containers.

Do not immerse the motor housing in water for cleaning in any
case. This may lead to electric shock or re.
Some parts of the accessories are very sharp. There is risk of injury!
CAUTION:
Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for
cleaning.
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Motor Housing
Clean the housing only with a damp cloth and a squirt of
washing-up liquid. Dry with a cloth.
