During operation, the oven must be reheated again
and again to maintain the set temperature. During re-
heating, the control lamp lights up (thermostat func-
tion).
NOTE:
If the recipe recommends placing the food in the pre-
heated oven, this should not be done before the con-
trol light first goes out.
Digital timer with LED display
The display is used to set the time and the various
functions of the timer. Use buttons and to
make the settings.
Function buttons
NOTE: Touch Control
The buttons respond to a light touch. You do not
need to apply pressure.
The unit responds best when the buttons are
touched with the tip of your finger.
Decrease time setting

Oven status indicaton

On: Cooking or ready to cook.

Off: Cooking off.
Minute minder status indicaton

On: Alarm function active.

Flashing: Alarm function setting mode or current
alarm completed.

Automatic cooking status indicaton

On: Fully/semi-automatic cooking active.

Flashing: Automatic cooking completed or
switch-on status.

Off: Fully/semi-automatic cooking off.
Child lock indicaton

On: Child lock active.

Off: Child lock off.
Switching on
After connecting to the power supply during initial
start-up or after power failure (interruption of more
than 50 seconds), the icon and the time of day
12:00 (factory setting) flash on the display. First set
the correct time of day (see
"System time setting"
) to
put the appliance into operation.
System time setting
Set the time of day for the first time after connecting
to the power supply:
Press the button to activate the time of day
setting mode. The seconds dot symbol between
the hour and minute flashes.
Now make the setting with the buttons and .
Confirm the setting with the button .
If you want to change the time of day subsequently,
the setting is only possible if no cooking program is
running:
Keep pressing the buttons and simultane-
ously for a few seconds. The seconds dot symbol
between the hour and minute flashes.
