Preparing the worktop for installation
CAUTION:
Before sawing, tape the outer edge of the cut-out
with wide tape to avoid marks from the jigsaw on the
worktop.
The hob can be installed on a worktop with a
thickness of between min. 30 mm and max.
40 mm, it must be horizontal and sealed on the
wall side against overflowing liquids or moisture.
The hob must be surrounded by at least 50 mm of
worktop and run parallel to the front edge of the
worktop.
The cut surfaces (cut-out edges) must be sealed
with special lacquer, silicone rubber or casting
resin to prevent swelling due to moisture.

Installing the hob
CAUTION:
First place the front of the hob on a padded surface
to prevent damage.
Step 1: Apply sealing tape
Before installing the hob,
attach the enclosed,
self-adhesive sealing
tape (5) to the underside
of the hob frame.
Do not use silicone! Attach the seal to the under-
side of the hob frame, leaving a gap of approx.’3
mm from the edge of the glass.
Apply the seal around the entire circumference
and cut off any excess material. Bring the two
ends of the seal together so that they fit snugly.
Step 2: Fasten the retaining clips
Secure the hob with a total of 5 retaining clips to pre-
