1. Il recipiente ideale è fatto di un materiale permeabile alle microonde, così da consentire
l’attraversamento delle microonde ed il riscaldamento del cibo.
2. Le microonde non possono attraversare il metallo. I recipienti in metallo o i piatti con finiture
metalliche non devono dunque essere utilizzati.
3. Non utilizzare mai prodotti fatti di carta riciclata. Infatti questi possono contenere piccoli frammenti
metallici che potrebbero causare scintille e/o incendi.
4. Utilizzare preferibilmente piatti rotondi o ovali piuttosto che piatti rettangolari o quadrati. Il cibo
situato negli angoli è più esposto ad una cottura eccessiva.
