IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE DEVICE. KEEP THE
MANUAL IN A SAFE PLACE FOR LATER USE.
• Parts of this device can become very hot and cause burns. To prevent burns, do not allow bare
skin to come in contact with hot surfaces.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothing and curtains
at least 1 m away from the front of the unit and away from the sides, top and back. Do not
place towels or other objects on the device.
• This device is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry rooms or similar indoor areas. Never
place the device in a location where it may fall into a bathtub or other water tank. To protect
against electrical hazards, do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
• Do not use the device right next to or at an electrical outlet.
• Do not use the device with a damaged cord or if the device is not working properly, has fallen
off, or is otherwise damaged. Return the unit to the retailer for examination, electrical or
mechanical adjustment, or repair.
• Do not touch the control panel with wet hands.
• Never cover the power cord with rugs, runners or similar coverings. Place the cord away from
areas of high traffic and where it cannot be tripped over.
• Make sure that no flammable material due to wind or other environmental influences covers
or obstructs the unit, such as curtains, marquees, flags, plastic sheeting, etc.
• Never insert foreign objects into ventilation or exhaust openings. Doing so may cause electric
shock or fire, or damage to the unit.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block the air inlets or outlets in any way. Never use the unit
on soft surfaces, such as a bed, where the openings may become blocked.
• To prevent overheating, do not cover the unit when in use.
• The unit has hot and parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, explosive and/or
flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep the unit away from heated surfaces and open
flames.
• Avoid using an extension cord. The extension cord may overheat and cause a fire. If you do
need to use an extension cord, the cord must be at least 1.5 mm2 in size.
• Connect only to grounded electrical outlets.
• Always turn off the device before moving or cleaning it, or when the device is not in use.
• Turn off the device before unplugging it.
• Use the device only for domestic use as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury. Use of
attachments not recommended or sold by non-authorized dealers may create hazards.
• Use the device only when hanging from the ceiling.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this unit with a solid-state speed
controller.
