with furnaces (gas,61, oil-, coal-fired) or
fireplaces. The airflow may aspirate their
exhaust fumes, withdraw oxygen and
extinguish flames.

Connecting the drain hose
The water (condense water) accumulated
during the drying process is caught in the
water tank, which you have to empty after
every drying.
You can drain the water continuously through
the included drain hose by connecting it to
a spout or other water drainage.
In this case you don’t need to empty the
water tank after every drying cycle. The
indicator “Empty water tank” will flash anyway
at the end of every program. .
Important Advice
The length of the hose and the highest point
over the floor have to be taken into
consideration for the draining of the water.
Install the hose without kinks!
Install as follows:
1 . At the water drainage connecting pull up
the condensate hose out of the appliance
by hand. Don’t use pliers!
2. Connect the drain hose securely to the
water drainage connection.
3. Lay and connect the drain hose to the
drainage
4. Secure the drain hose against slipping
when hang it over the sink or tub.
Before Drying
What can be dried

After the drying...
Fluff filter
It comes to the so called fiber wear (“fluff”)
by wearing the clothes – not through drying.
This fluff is caught by the fluff filter during
drying.
Clean the fluff filter after every drying.
To clean the fluff filter:
1. Open door.
2. Pull the fluff filter out of the door.
3. Remove fluff carefully by hand or with a
wet, soft cloth.
4. Insert fluff filter the right way round.
The water tank
During the drying process, the wet clothes
are deprived of its water through vaporizing.
The water vapor cools again (condenses),
and is caught in the water tank.
Empty the water tank:
after the drying or
if during drying the indicator “Empty
tank” flashes.
Important Advice
Do not pull the water tank during a running
program.
You also can drain the water constantly
through the included drain hose (see
“Connecting the drain hose”)
Emptying the water tank:
1. Pull the water tank carefully from the slit.
2. Support the tank underneath with your
second hand.
3. Open the latch of the water tank
4. Pour out the water
5. If fluff is present on the latch, please
remove it. Press the latch shut.
Insert the water tank fully.
Important Advice
Condense water is not drinking water! If
you filter it (i.e. through a coffee filter) you
may use it for your ironing or air humidifier.
The air cooler
In the air cooler (condenser) the warm and
humid air stream is cooled with cold room
air, hence precipitating water.
Please clean the air cooler
- After 20 times drying or
- Once a month
Cleaning the air cooler:
1. Open the door. Wait till the appliance has
cooled down
2. Open the slit. Unlock the 3 red colored
fasteners.
3. Pull out the air cooler by the handle.
4. Rinse Air cooler with running water. Let
the water drip off.
5. Insert the air cooler – with the labeling
on top- fully. Lock the fasteners. Close
the slit.
Drum ribs
On the rips in the inside of the drum are
humidity sensors, with which the
appliance detects, if the laundry is dry.
Clean drum ribs
- After 50 times drying or
- 4 times a year.
To clean the drum ribs:
1. Open the door. Wait till the appliance has
cooled down.
2. Wipe all drum ribs with a soft, dipped in
vinegar, cloth.
Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Don’t use solvent ,…
cleaning petrol etc!
Fire or explosion hazard!

of a program; otherwise you will have
a mix of half-dried and too strongly
dried clothes.
1. Press the >Pause< button.
2. Put the laundry into the drum, close the
filling door.
3. Press the >Start< button.
Laundry final drying
1. Adjust the program selector to one of the
timed programs 60 min<, >40 min< or
>10 min<.
2. Press the >Start< button.
Program end
The program has ended when the indicators
>Stop/ < and >Clean fluff filter < flash.
During the anti-crease (at function “Anti-
crease”) the indicator “Stop” will flash.
Now you can end the program at any
time.
1. Open the door, take out the laundry,
check the drum for foreign matters.
2. Adjust program selector to >Stop<.

- Clean the drum rips (see “Drum rips”).
6. According to need:
