The yellow pilot light (B) comes on when the switch

The green pilot lamp (D), which comes on when the
mains voltage is available and the ON/OFF knob is
pushed. Switch the temperature regulatore to a num-
ber position, the refrigerating unit automatically ope-

Electrical Connection
Any electrical work required to install this appliance
should be carried out by a qualified electrician

Before switching on, make sure the electricity supply
voltage is the same as that indicated on the applian-
ce rating plate. The rating plate is inside, on the left.
The appliance is supplied with a 13 amp plug fitted. In
the event of having to change the fuse in the plug
supplied, a 13 amp ASTA approved (BS 1362) fuse
must be used.
Important!
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accor-
dance with the following code:
Prior to Initial Start–Up
Green and Yellow Earth
Blue Neutral
Brown Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured mar-
kings indentifying the terminals in your plug, proceed
as follows:
1. The wire coloured green and yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
„E“ or by the earth symbol or coloured green and
yellow.
2. The wire coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal „N“ or coloured black.
3. The wire coloured brown must be connected to
the terminal marked „L“ or coloured red.
4. Upon completion there must be not cut, or stray
strands of wire present and the cord clamp must
be secure over the outer sheat.
Warning! A cut-off plug inserted into a 13 amp
socket is a serious safety (shock) hazard. Ensure
that the cut-off plug is disposed of safely.

• Enfochez la fiche dans le prise de courant.
Appuyez sur le interrupteur marche/arrêt. Le voy-
ant vert de fonctionnement s’allume.
• Tournez le thermostat (F) depois la position “0”;
le voyant rouge (C) s’éclairent; et l’alarme sonore
s’entend. L’appreil se met en marche.
Actionnez en plus le commutateur de congéla-
tion rapide (A), le voyant jaune (B) s’éclaire;
Attendez que le voyant rouge (C) soit éteint
pour ramener le commutateur de congélation
rapide (A) à sa position initiale; le voyant jaune
(B) s’éteint.
Position «0» signifie: arrêt.
Tournez le thermostat dans le sens de horaire
signifie: température la plus élevée, réglage le plus
chaud.
Tournez le thermostat jusqu’à la fin (butée) signi-
fie: température la plus basse, réglage le plus froid.
L’exacte position doit être réprée en considérant que
la température interne dépend des facteurs suivants:
– quantité et température d’aliments conservés ;
Alarme sonore en cas de remontée
de température
Votre congélateur est doté d’un alarme sonore, qui
vous indique une température de stockage trop
élevée, retenit au même moment que le voyant de
contrôle de la température rouge (C) s’éclaire.
L’alarme acoustique continue de fonctionner jusqu’à
le commutateur de congélation rapide soit débran-
ché.
Alarme sonore pour l’ouverture de
la porte
Un signal d’alarme s’entend quand la porte reste
ouverte pendant plus de 60 seconds. Pour arréter le
signal il faut fermer la porte.
Mise en service et réglage de la tempéra-
ture
– fréquence d’ouverture des portes;
Remarque: vérifiez régulièremet la respect de la
température de stoc kage sur le voyant rouge de con-
trôle de la température (C) et sur le thermomètre.
Accus à froid
Dans un des tiroirs de surgélateur se trouve les accus
à froid.
En cas de panne de courant ou de défaut
de l’appareil, l’accu à froid prolonge de plusieurs
heures le délai avant échauffement excessif des
aliments congelés.
Cet accu à froid devra être placé en haut sur les ali-
ments situés dans le tiroir supérieur.
Vous pouvez également employer l’accus à froid de
manière temporaire pour un sac isotherme.
