Sygnał satelitarny GPS nie przenika przez ciała stałe (z wyjątkiem szkła). Gdy pojazd

czterech satelitów GPS. Odbiór sygnału może być zakłócany złą pogodą lub też
przeszkodami o dużej gęstości nad pojazdem (np. drzewa i wysokie budynki).
Inne urządzenia bezprzewodowe w pojeździe mogą zakłócać odbiór sygnałów
satelitarnych i powodować niestabilny odbiór.
Do korzystania z urządzenia w samochodzie potrzebny jest uchwyt samochodowy.
Urządzenie należy umieścić w odpowiednim miejscu, tak aby nie ograniczać
kierowcy widoczności ani uniemożliwić prawidłowego otwarcia poduszki powietrznej.
