Når du stiger ud af bilen, bør du ikke efterlade dit apparat på instrumentbrættet,

hvor det udsættes for direkte sollys. Overophedning af batteriet kan medføre

funktionsfejl og/eller fare.

GPS betjenes af den danske regering, som er eneansvarlig for GPS-nettets

ydeevne. Enhver ændring af GPS-nettet kan påvirke nøjagtigheden af alt GPS-

udstyr. GPS-satellitsignaler kan ikke passere igennem massivt materiale (med

undtagelse af glas). Når du befinder dig i en tunnel eller en bygning, er GPS-

positionering ikke tilgængelig. Der skal bruges mindst 4 GPS-satellitsignaler for at

finde aktuelle GPS-positioner. Signalmodtagelse kan påvirkes af situationer,

såsom dårligt vejr eller tætte forhindringer (fx træer og høje bygninger).

Andre trådløse enheder i køretøjet kan interagere med modtagelsen af

satellitsignaler og medføre en ustabil signalmodtagelse.

Et registreringsbevis er nødvendigt, når apparatet benyttes i en bil. Placer

apparatet på et sikkert sted for ikke at spærre for førerens udsyn eller for

anvendelse af airbag.
