3. Display Frequency Response Cutoff Filter
In diesem Bild können Sie Einstellungen an diversen Filtern
vornehmen und Filtereinstellungen anzeigen. Die vorgenomme-
nen Einstellungen werden grafisch dargestellt.
A. Center
Mit den Einstellungen unter Center beeinflussen Sie den Klang
Ihres Center-Lautsprechers.
Filterwirkung vom Centerlautsprecher wiedergegeben.
Klang Ihres angeschlossenen Subwoofers.
separat einstellen. Damit erreichen Sie, dass diese nur die
Frequenzen wiedergeben, die vom angeschlossenen
Subwoofer nicht verarbeitet werden.
3. Display showing the frequency response cut-off filter
On this screen you can make changes to various filters and
display the filter settings. The configured settings are
displayed graphically.
A. Center
You can adjust the sound of your centre loudspeaker using the
settings in the Center section. You can adjust the cut-off
frequency of the highpass filter (2nd order filter, 12 dB/octave)
between 200 and 3200 Hz by clicking on the arrow symbols < >
or by adjusting the „Highpass Filter“ slider control. „Gain“ allows
you to change the level of the output by +/- 6 dB.
If you clicked on „flat“, all the frequencies will be reproduced by
the centre loudspeaker without a filter effect. Clicking with the
mouse on „Center“ will cause the changed values to be
displayed.
B. Subwoofer
You can adjust the sound of your connected subwoofer using
the settings in the Subwoofer section. You can set the
amplification to between +/- 6 dB by clicking on < > or sliding
the „Gain“ control. „Phase“ allows you to set the phase to
between -135 and + 180 degrees in 45-degree steps.
In order to keep extremely low-frequency sound components
away from small subwoofers, you can additionally activate a
subsonic filter (2nd order filter, 12 dB/octave). You can set a
value between 20 and 40 Hz by clicking on < > or adjusting the
„Cutoff Freq.“ slider control. „Q Factor“ allows you to change the
quality factor of the subsonic filter to a value between 0.5 - 1.3.
Clicking with the mouse on „flat“ deactivates the subsonic filter.
The lowpass filter (4th order filter, 24 dB/octave) allows you to
specify the upper cut-off frequency - the subwoofer will then
operate only up to this frequency. You adjust this by clicking on
< > or sliding the frequency control between 40-100 Hz. Clicking
with the mouse on „flat“ deactivates the filter and all the
frequencies will then be reproduced by the subwoofer.
Clicking with the mouse on „Subwoofer“ will cause the changed
values to be displayed.
C. Front / Rear
In the Front / Rear section, you can adjust the highpass filter
(2nd order filter, 12 dB/octave) separately for the front or rear
channels. This allows you to make sure that they only
reproduce the frequencies that are not processed by the
connected subwoofer.
