V grelnem predalu lahko segrevati ali ohranjate tople posode (krožnike, skodelice, sklede, ...) ali
jedi. Pri tem lahko predal obremenite z največ 15 kg.
Pazite, saj je lahko vse, kar segrejete ali ohranjate toplo z grelnim predalom, zelo vroče. Tudi
dostopni deli oz. površine predala samega so lahko zelo tople.
Zato vedno pri uporabi predala uporabljajte rokavico za lonce ali prijemalko, da se zaščitite pred
opeklinami.
Predogrevanje posode
Položite posodo v grelni predal in ga vključite. Vrtljivi regulator nastavite na
položaj 6. ure.
Zaprite grelni predal in počakajte, da se posoda segreje na želeno temperaturo.
Glede na količino in velikost posode in glede na nastavljeno temperaturo lahko traja različno dolgo,
dokler vsi deli niso enakomerno segreti.
Zaključite postopek segrevanja: odprite predal in vrtljivi regulator nastavite na najmanjšo
vrednost. S stikalom za vklop/izklop izključite napravo.
Vzdrževanje toplote jedi
Z grelnim predalom lahko ohranjate jedi tople. Vendar upoštevajte, da tik po kuhanju ne smete odlagati
ponev ali loncev na protizdrsno podlogo, ker se lahko ta pri tem poškoduje.
Vselej počakajte, da se ponve ali lonci ohladijo na manj kot 80 °C ali jedi prenesite v hladno
posodo, kot je npr. steklena skleda.
Ko jed več ne vre in se iz nje le še malo kadi, ima pravilno temperaturo, da jo lahko daste v predal.
Pred uporabo grelnega predala za vzdrževanje toplote jedi je smiselno, da predal pribl. 5-10 minut
ogrevate.
Za vzdrževanje toplote jedi, kot so meso, riba, zelenjava, priloge, juhe, omake itd., vrtljivi regulator
nastavite na največji položaj (9. ura).
Odtajanje zamrznjenih jedi
Z grelnim predalom lahko odtalite/segrejete zamrznjene jedi.
Jed pri tem dajte na krožnik ali v stekleno skledo. Vključite predal in vrtljivi regulator nastavite pribl. na
položaj 3. ure.
Jed pustite v predalu, dokler se ustrezno ne odtali.
