Nel cassetto scaldavivande si possono riscaldare o mantenere calde stoviglie (piatti, tazze, ciotole...) o
pietanze. Il cassetto può accogliere un peso massimo di 15 kg.
Fare attenzione che tutto ciò che viene riscaldato o mantenuto caldo nel cassetto scaldavivande può
essere molto caldo. Anche le stesse parti o superfici del cassetto che possono essere toccate sono
sovente molto calde. Utilizzare pertanto sempre un guanto o delle presine durante l'utilizzo per
proteggersi da eventuali ustioni.
Preriscaldamento delle stoviglie
Introdurre le stoviglie nel cassetto scaldavivande e accenderlo.

ostare la manopola di regolazione a ore 6.
Chiudere il cassetto scaldavivande e attendere fino a quando le stoviglie non hanno raggiunto la
temperatura corrispondente.
Il tempo necessario per riscaldare tutti gli elementi in modo uniforme può variare in funzione della
quantità e delle dimensioni delle stoviglie e della temperatura impostata.
Per concludere la procedura di riscaldamento: aprire il cassetto e portare la manopola di regolazione al
minimo. Azionare l'interruttore ON/OFF e spegnere l'apparecchio.
Conservazione del calore delle pietanze
Il cassetto scaldavivande consente di mantenere calde le pietanze, è tuttavia fortemente sconsigliato
collocare sul tappetino antiscivolo padelle o pentole tolte direttamente dal fuoco, perché possono
danneggiarlo. Lasciar raffreddare padelle o pentole a una temperatura inferiore a 80 °C o versare le
pietanze in un contenitore ancora freddo, come ad esempio una ciotola di vetro.
Quando le pietanze non sono più bollenti o fumanti, hanno la temperatura giusta per essere riposte
nel cassetto.
Prima di utilizzare il cassetto scaldavivande per mante
nere calde le pietanze, è opportuno preriscaldarlo
per circa 5-10 minuti.
Impostare la manopola di regolazione al massimo a ore 9 per mantenere calde le pietanze quali carne,
pesce, verdura, contorni, zuppe, salse ecc.
Scongelamento di pietanze congelate
Il cassetto scaldavivande consente di scongelare/riscaldare le pietanze congelate.
A tal scopo collocare la pietanza su un piatto o in una ciotola di vetro. Accendere il cassetto e impostare
la manopola di regolazione a ore 3 circa.
Lasciar scongelare la pietanza nel cassetto fino allo stato di rugiada desiderato.
