3.3.5 Zaščita pred prekomerno temperaturo
Nameščeno temperaturno tipalo lahko nadzira temperaturo v kuhalni plošči. Ko zazna prekomerno
temperaturo, samodejno izključi kuhalno ploščo.
3.3.6 Opozorilo za preostalo toploto
Po daljšem delovanju kuhalne plošče bo ta še nekaj časa topla. Na to vas opozarja črka »H«.
3.3.7 Privzeti delovni časi
Dodatna varnostna funkcija kuhalne plošče je samodejni izklop. Plošča se samodejno izklopi, če slučajno
pozabite izključiti kuhališče. Privzeti časi zaustavitve so prikazani v spodnji tabeli:

4. Smernice za kuhanje
Pri praženju bodite zelo previdni, saj se olje in mast hitro segrejeta, predvsem, ko uporabljate
funkcijo PowerBoost. Pri izredno visokih temperaturah se olje in mast spontano zanetita, kar
predstavlja nevarnost požara.
4.1 Napotki za kuhanje
Ko hrana zavre, zmanjšajte temperaturno nastavitev.
Uporaba pokrova skrajša čase kuhanja in prihrani energijo, saj pokrov zadržuje toploto.
Zmanjšajte količino tekočin ali masti, da skrajšate čase kuhanja.
Začnite kuhati na visoki nastavitvi in zmanjšajte nastavitev, ko se hrana pregreje.
4.1.1 Počasno vrenje, kuhanje riža
Počasno vrenje poteka pod vreliščem pri pribl. 85 ˚C, ko se občasno dvigne kak mehurček na
površino kuhane tekočine. Je ključnega pomena za pripravo okusnih juh in enolončnic, saj omogoča
razvoj okusov brez razkuhanja jedi. Tudi omake na osnovi jajca in zgoščene z moko je treba kuhati
pod vreliščem.
Nekatere priprave jedi, vključno s kuhanjem riža po metodi absorbiranja, zahtevajo višjo nastavitev
od najnižje, da se jed v priporočenem času lahko pravilno skuha.
4.1.2 Zapeka steaka
Za pripravo sočnih, okusnih steakov:
1. Meso pustite pred kuhanjem približno 20 minut ležati na sobni temperaturi.
2. Segrejte ponev s težkim dnom.
3. Obe strani steaka namažite z oljem. Majhno količino olja dajte v ponev in nato spustite mesto v vročo
ponev.
4. Steak med pripravo obrnite samo enkrat. Natančen čas priprave je odvisen od debeline mesa in
načina, kako ga želite zapeči. Čas se lahko spreminja od 2 – 8 minut na stran. Pritisnite na meso, da
preverite, kako je pečeno bolj čvrsto kot je, bolj bo »pečeno skoz«.
5. Steak pustite nekaj minut počivati na toplem krožniku, da se sprosti in postane mehak, preden ga
postrežete.
